The fisher price hop and pop was given to me by a friend who swore by it. It has a nice padded seat which is comfortable and secure.

Its quite big but unlike a walker it doesnt move anywhere so as long as you have a space to put it its fine. When i first put my son in it he wasnt heavy enough to make it bounce but was happy enough with the exciting toys and colourful buttons.

Soon enough he got the hang of it and worked out that he could make the balls pop in the middle and music would play if he jumped in it. the tunes it plays are a little more than annoying when you have heard them over and over and over again! However for short periods of time its o.k. you could always turn the noises off but my son cried if you did that (it is a bit cruel i know but worth a try) the mat underneath meant that we could take it in the garden in the summer without worrying about his feet getting dirty.
